HORSE PROJECTS

Do you own or have access to a horse and want to learn to be a better rider while having lots of fun and meeting like minded friends?  If so, the horse project is for you!  If you have not already signed up, do so today, as our Informational meeting will be Saturday November 12 from 10-12 at the Gallatin county extension office.  We will have a vet, nutritionist and farrier present so this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about horses, as well as project requirements.  For more information about horse related projects,  please read the 2022-2023 Horse Policy Manual  and watch the helmet video.  All members will be asked to sign Docusigns stating that you have read and understand these documents, which can all be found at http://gallatin.msuextension.org/4hforms.html

The Horse Committee is looking for additional volunteers! If you, or someone you know, would like to help with clinics, the Fair, or just want to get more involved, please contact Sheila Smart or a member of the Horse Committee.   Each year we also accept two junior members as part of our team.  In addition to being a great resume builder for college, this is a great opportunity to have your voice heard!  Please apply here by November 20. https://na3.docusign.net/Member/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=f51b27ff-f791-4003-b487-6f757e78dd57&env=na3&acct=960f6090-f7cb-40a6-adf5-0490f456d6eb&v=2
