Farewell from JaNaie'
Gallatin County 4-H Families! It has been a huge pleasure meeting you all and working closely with volunteers and watching youth grow up and take on leadership roles! I am transitioning to a position on MSU Campus with the Montana 4-H Foundation.
The Extension Office/MSU Admin do not know the plan quite yet on when they will be posting the 4-H agent position to fill this vacancy, so the below information will be helpful in the meantime.
Currently Molly Yurdana (molly.yurdana@montana.edu) is the only Extension Agent in the office and will be taking the lead of 4-H in the office (and at fair) at this time. Colyn, the 4-H program manager gallatin4h@montana.edu , is currently part time and the office is working towards presenting her position to the commissioners for full time this spring. She is taking the lead on financial aspects of 4-H and enrollment process and providing club/project rosters to volunteers. Kari (gallatin@montana.edu) will still be supporting 4-H and helping get project books to youth along with reserving the fairgrounds buildings for project/club meetings. The newsletter will be a joint team effort, but please send your newsletter blurbs to gallatin4h@montana.edu on the 23rd of each month.
