Beef

Thank you to those that attended our Introductory Workshop. We had a great turnout! Kay Klompien did a fantastic job and everyone learned a lot.

For those of you still looking for calves, please reach out to a leader right away. We have several local producers with calves available at this time, but shipping season is quickly approaching and it will be difficult to find one locally after Mid October. Also PLEASE line out grass hay for your steer.  Hay is hard to come by this year and you need to have a plan. If you can’t find any please call a leader.  Your steer needs hay for the entire project.

** Our meetings start promptly at the time listed. We allow a 10 minute window after start time, if you arrive past that window you will be unable to count the workshop for the year. This will be the case for every workshop.

DO NOT FORGET:

January 9th is our MANDATORY tagging date. This will not count as a workshop, but is mandatory.  Your time slot will be sent to you closer to the event. If you cannot make this event for some reason you must reach out to a leader PRIOR to the date or you will not be eligible to continue with the project.

October 24, 2021- 4:00pm

When you sign up for 4H this year we need you to use a  cell phone number and email of an adult in charge so we will be able to reach you. This is how we will communicate so we need current phone numbers and emails.

We look forward to a new and exciting year! Please always check the newsletters for our many exciting workshops offered almost monthly. If you have any questions please call a leader any time!
