Daring Adventurers
Parents in this club!  We are looking for a club leader to continue this awesome club.

In December the leadership team came together for both a community service project and a fundraising project. First the club went to Walmart with the Manhattan presbyterian church and the Dry Creek Club and collected Christmas gifts for people in need. We also helped wrap these gifts at the church later on. We also had our statewide online leadership training and Christmas party where we had a fun gift exchange and put together our upcoming event, Parents' Night Out. Near the middle of December we had a fun event planned that young 4-H kids could come to while their parents could have a fun night out.

We will continue on in January with our Ambassador Training on January 10th from 3:55 - 6:00 at the McPhees and the Leadership Project Training and Meeting on January 17 from 2:20 - 4:30 at the Extension Office.  If you have any questions, please contact one of the Teen Leaders or Shelly McPhee (advisor) - or 406.595.4774 (text - Shelly).

Gateway Challengers

The Gateway Challengers met on December 14, 2020 for our traditional Christmas party. There were 19 club members present and we started the party by doing a Christmas puzzle. Then we played musical chairs. Decker Trainer won so we started to do our traditional white elephant gift exchange. After the white elephant exchange we played charades. While the others divided into groups a couple kids were called to the kitchen to decorate cookies. The blue team won charades and everyone who didn’t decorate a cookie went to the kitchen. Then we started to wrap up the party by playing tag. Finally, we finished tag and said goodbye. Our next meeting will be January 11, 2021, at 6:30 P.M. at the Gateway Community Center. Speedy Pillowcase Tutorial | WeAllSew  search We all sew- for some easy projects and speedy pillowcase tutorial is like our Hot Dog pillowcase.  You can use scissors for the rotary cutter and pins instead of the clips.  this has great instructions and pictures.

If you have never done this method you can start smaller with a christmas stocking or a small bag.

Let me know if you need this pattern.
