Belgrade Pioneers Club
Happy Holidays Fellow 4-Her’s!
The Belgrade Pioneers’ meeting was held Thursday, December 3rd, 2020, at the WB Ranch. It was also the Belgrade Pioneers’ Christmas party! Our theme for dinner was breakfast. We had stations set up with different activities. They were Christmas-themed Pictionary, cookie decorating, pin the carrot on the snowman, and we decorated cards for the Senior Centers. We also exchanged gifts! Everyone did a great job and we had so much fun. Our next meeting will be held on January 7th, 2021, at 6:00 pm at the WB Ranch. If you have questions, please contact Shelly McPhee at belgradepioneers@gmail.com (email) or 406.595.4774 (text).

DLE
In December the leadership team came together for both a community service project and a fundraising project. First the club went to Walmart with the Manhattan presbyterian church and the Dry Creek Club and collected Christmas gifts for people in need. We also helped wrap these gifts at the church later on. We also had our statewide online leadership training and Christmas party where we had a fun gift exchange and put together our upcoming event, Parents' Night Out. Near the middle of December we had a fun event planned that young 4-H kids could come to while their parents could have a fun night out.
We will continue on in January with our Ambassador Training on January 10th from 3:55 - 6:00 at the McPhees and the Leadership Project Training and Meeting on January 17 from 2:20 - 4:30 at the Extension Office. If you have any questions, please contact one of the Teen Leaders or Shelly McPhee (advisor) - gallatindle@gmail.com or 406.595.4774 (text - Shelly).

Gateway Challengers
The Gateway Challengers met on December 14, 2020 for our traditional Christmas party. There were 19 club members present and we started the party by doing a Christmas puzzle. Then we played musical chairs. Decker Trainer won so we started to do our traditional white elephant gift exchange. After the white elephant exchange we played charades. While the others divided into groups a couple kids were called to the kitchen to decorate cookies. The blue team won charades and everyone who didn’t decorate a cookie went to the kitchen. Then we started to wrap up the party by playing tag. Finally, we finished tag and said goodbye. Our next meeting will be January 11, 2021, at 6:30 P.M. at the Gateway Community Center. If you have any questions contact Jessica Black (406) 539-0940 or theblacksmail@gmail.com.

Phyllis Lewis and I will again be co-leading the 4-H knitting group if you are still interested. Our meeting dates are going to be the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Cafe M in Belgrade as this seems to fit everyone's needs.
If any of your friends would like to join the group, there will be plenty of room. Be thinking about what kind of project you would like to work on this year. There are plenty of sample projects you can try or bring one of your own that we can help you get started on.
