2020 4-H EXPO WAS A SUCCESS!

4-H Agent, JaNaie' Godin, excited that the week was a success!
It takes a team to make things happen!  And that is what we had for the 2020 4-H fair events. Your volunteers stepped up to make sure that events still took place for youth.  It was a very interesting week of requirements to follow, and I am very happy to say we made it past that week.  Thank you to those that helped work towards the greater good of making the week a success and supporting me through the difficult week.

CLUBS
Gateway Challengers club demonstration
Gateway Challengers

The Gateway Challengers met on June 25, 2020 for a meeting. Due to COVID, our Club had not had a meeting for months. We did roll call, and our Secretary asked us what we liked about online school. We then did the minutes of the last meeting and the announcements. After that we talked about all the fun project meetings we had been to. Then the Club talked about community service and a club field trip. We also planned a date to do a Club scrapbook. To end the meeting we did Demonstration Speeches. The Club learned how to make spray-paint art and how to plant a flower. After the demonstrations it was time to go home.

Submitted by Kryka Shockley, club reporter.

The Gateway Challengers meet the second Monday each month at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center. All ages and projects are welcome. If you have any questions contact Jessica Black (406) 539-0940 or theblacksmail@gmail.com.

PROJECTS

2020-2021 Projects
As we begin to look to the next 4-H year we are always in need of project leaders.  Each year some volunteers retire, some are not able to continue volunteering, and we still have many projects without leaders!  An updated list will come out in September on what projects we have volunteers leading up, but as always you can do projects without volunteers and learn by doing through the curriculum books provided as a family.
